I don't really think he is excited to go to his dad's work. I think this because when he was listening to all the other students in his class, telling everyone about how cool there parent's jobs were, his dad's job was not as interesting. Also, in the book it also says Will stayed up till after midnight, so he didn't get a good sleep. When he woke up in the morning it said he wanted to just stay home and sleep. So I thought he might not really want to go. That is why I think Will was not very excited to go to his dad's work.

I am thinking the same thing as you, i don't think he wants to go because, will stayed up to make matters worse by listening to tunes and putting together some lyrics that him and his friend were working on, after midnight. not only that he started making jokes if parents get a divorce and how they wound still be kissing and saying good-bye. ooh and at the strat of the book he trys to make every one believe that his dad has a good jod and u think he was trying to make him-self believe that too.

Ya i aggree with @BrandonM becasue on his way there he says in his head he would rather be sleeping then at a trade centre and he also would have rather done his first plan....Pretend he was sick and have the day to himself.
Yes, so we all basically have the same idea? Ahah I agree with Brandon at the fact he might be a little excited, considering he hasn't seen his father in a while all week. So I'm sure he's slighty happy to at least spend time with his father. Also maybe a little curious to see what it's like at his work. :)

In my opinion, I think that, Will is not excited. To support my answer, I think its because he has compared his fathers job with everyone else's. In their class discussion about their parents job, others had mentioned that their parents were more active and exiting (e.g. fire fighters, doctors and in recoding studios), compared to Will's fathers job which is in an office that involves computers and sitting, sounds fun eh? Not at all to Will. And so will tries to make his dads work sound fun to impress a girl that he likes in his class.
hey my mom has friends at work and the ways she talks about them makes me not want to meet them. do to you think will well like has dads friends or if he had friends. but i dont think so
hi Kelly i agree with you when you say that will was not excited to go to his dad's work with him. the reason why i say that is because as the book says's will stayed up all night listening to music and trying to put a song together for assignment they had to do but i think he enjoyed it because he could use it as an ensues to stay home and not go to work with his dad. another reason why i think he didn't think he wanted to go to his dad job with him is because he was beaning compared to his dad job so as all the other kids in Will's class.
